Flexible CNA Opportunities Across Long-Term Care, Rehab & Home Health Settings in the Triad Area

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients and residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting in LTC, rehab, or home health settings
• Monitor and accurately record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature, reporting changes to supervising nursing staff promptly
• Support patient mobility by assisting with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and the proper use of mobility aids including walkers and wheelchairs
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients and residents, fostering dignity and respect in every interaction
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional intake monitoring, documenting consumption and reporting concerns to the care team
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients by performing light housekeeping duties and ensuring infection control protocols are followed
• Collaborate with licensed nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams to support individualized patient care plans and rehabilitation goals
• Observe and report changes in patients' physical condition, behavior, or emotional well-being to the supervising RN or LPN in a timely manner
• Document care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR) or paper charting systems per facility policy and regulatory requirements
• Support home health patients with prescribed exercises, medication reminders, and care routines as directed by the supervising nurse or care plan

Qualifications We Look for in Greensboro CNA Candidates

• Active and unrestricted Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification listed on the North Carolina Nurse Aide I Registry in good standing
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required; completion of a state-approved CNA training program is mandatory
• Previous experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or home health setting is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates
• Demonstrated ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients safely using proper body mechanics; ability to meet physical demands of the role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care delivery
• Ability to work independently in home health environments or collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in facility-based settings
• Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross) preferred; may be required depending on placement setting
• Reliable transportation and the ability to meet scheduling commitments across assigned shifts, including evenings, weekends, or rotating schedules as needed
