Flexible Full-Time CNA Opportunities Across Long-Term Care, Rehab & Home Health Settings in Hudson County

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients and residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting in LTC, rehab, or home health environments
• Monitor and accurately record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration, reporting any changes to the supervising RN or LPN
• Provide safe patient transfers and ambulation assistance using proper body mechanics and transfer equipment to prevent falls and injuries
• Deliver compassionate companionship and emotional support to residents and patients, promoting dignity and quality of life across all care settings
• Assist nursing staff with wound care, catheter care, and other clinical procedures as permitted within the NJ CNA scope of practice
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment in accordance with facility infection control and OSHA standards
• Document care activities accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems or paper charting as required by the employer
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams, family members, and patients to ensure continuity and quality of care

Qualifications & Requirements for CNA Candidates in Jersey City
