Flexible Temporary CNA Opportunities in Long-Term Care & Rehab Settings Across OKC

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents and patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting in LTC and rehab settings
• Monitor and accurately record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate, reporting changes to supervising nursing staff
• Support residents during ambulation, transfers, and repositioning using proper body mechanics and assistive devices to prevent injury
• Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for residents by performing light room upkeep and ensuring infection control protocols are followed
• Assist rehabilitation therapy teams by reinforcing exercise routines and mobility goals established by occupational and physical therapists
• Observe and promptly communicate changes in resident behavior, cognitive status, skin integrity, or physical condition to licensed nurses
• Provide compassionate emotional support and companionship to long-term care residents, fostering dignity and respect in every interaction
• Document care activities accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility policies and Oklahoma State Department of Health regulations
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding support, and hydration monitoring to promote resident nutrition and overall wellness
• Participate in shift handoff communications and interdisciplinary care team meetings to ensure continuity of resident-centered care

Qualifications We Look For in Our Oklahoma City CNAs

• Active and unrestricted Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification listed in good standing on the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an accredited provider
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and reference verification in compliance with Oklahoma healthcare regulations
• Basic understanding of long-term care and rehabilitation workflows, infection control practices, and resident rights
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and assist with patient transfers and mobility safely
