Flexible Temporary CNA Opportunities in Long-Term Care & Rehabilitation Settings Across Lincoln, NE

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting in LTC and rehab settings
• Monitor and accurately document vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates, reporting changes to licensed nursing staff
• Support resident mobility by assisting with transfers, ambulation, and the proper use of assistive devices such as walkers and wheelchairs
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to long-term care residents, fostering dignity and a sense of well-being
• Assist rehabilitation patients with prescribed exercise routines and therapeutic activities under the direction of nursing and therapy staff
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents by performing light housekeeping duties within care areas
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests, prioritizing urgent needs while managing multiple responsibilities across busy care floors
• Assist dietary staff with meal service, ensure proper resident positioning during meals, and document nutritional intake as required
• Observe and report changes in resident behavior, skin integrity, appetite, or physical condition to the supervising RN or LPN
• Adhere to all facility infection control protocols, HIPAA regulations, and Nebraska state standards for long-term care and rehabilitation settings

Qualifications & Requirements for CNA Candidates in Lincoln, NE

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing on the Nebraska Health Care Registry
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening in accordance with Nebraska healthcare staffing requirements
