Responsibilities:

• Assist residents and patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral hygiene in LTC and rehab settings
• Monitor and accurately document vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates, reporting any abnormalities to the supervising nurse
• Support patient mobility and safe ambulation, including the proper use of assistive devices such as walkers, gait belts, and wheelchairs
• Assist rehabilitation patients with prescribed exercise routines and therapy-related movement under the direction of nursing and therapy staff
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents by performing routine room upkeep and adhering to infection control protocols
• Provide compassionate emotional support and meaningful social interaction to residents, particularly those in memory care or long-term skilled nursing settings
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding support, ensuring dietary restrictions and individual preferences are respected
