Flexible Temporary CNA Opportunities in Long-Term Care & Rehabilitation Settings Across Hialeah

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents and patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting in LTC and rehab settings
• Monitor and document vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature, reporting changes to the supervising licensed nurse
• Support patient mobility and ambulation, including safe transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive equipment such as Hoyer lifts and gait belts
• Provide compassionate care and emotional support to residents in long-term care, many of whom rely on CNAs as their primary point of daily contact
• Assist rehabilitation patients with prescribed range-of-motion exercises and encourage participation in therapy programs under the direction of clinical staff
• Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for all residents, including routine room tidying, linen changes, and infection control practices
• Assist with meal service and feeding support, ensuring residents receive proper nutrition and hydration while observing and reporting any swallowing difficulties
• Accurately complete and maintain required documentation, including ADL flow sheets and incident reports, in compliance with facility and state regulations
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff, therapy teams, and family members regarding changes in resident condition or behavior
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests, demonstrating respect, patience, and professionalism at all times

Qualifications & Requirements for CNA Candidates in Hialeah, FL

• Current, active Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing with the Florida Department of Health
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
