Flexible Temporary CNA Opportunities in Long-Term Care & Rehabilitation Settings Across Louisville

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct personal care to residents and patients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral hygiene in LTC and rehabilitation settings
• Assist residents with ambulation, transfers, and repositioning using proper body mechanics and assistive devices in accordance with individualized care plans
• Accurately measure and document vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates, reporting abnormalities to the charge nurse promptly
• Support residents during meal times by assisting with feeding, monitoring nutritional intake, and encouraging hydration throughout the shift
• Respond promptly and compassionately to call lights and resident requests, maintaining dignity and respect in every interaction
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical condition, behavior, or emotional status to the nursing team to support continuity of care
• Assist rehabilitation patients with prescribed exercise routines and therapy-supporting activities under the direction of licensed nursing and therapy staff
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized resident environment by performing light housekeeping duties and following infection control protocols
• Accurately complete required documentation, daily care records, and incident reports in compliance with facility and Kentucky state regulations
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams including nurses, therapists, and social workers to deliver holistic, patient-centered care

Qualifications & Requirements for CNA Candidates in Louisville, KY

• Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Kentucky or eligibility for reciprocity from another state
