Flexible Temporary CNA Opportunities in Long-Term Care & Rehabilitation Settings Across Indianapolis

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents and patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting in LTC and rehab environments
• Monitor and accurately record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration, reporting changes to the supervising nurse promptly
• Support patient mobility and safe repositioning using proper body mechanics and facility-approved transfer techniques, including use of mechanical lifts
• Assist rehabilitation patients with ambulation and prescribed exercises under the direction of licensed nursing and therapy staff
• Provide compassionate emotional support and companionship to long-term care residents, fostering dignity and a sense of well-being
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in accordance with infection control standards and facility protocols
• Document care provided accurately in electronic health records (EHR) or paper charts in compliance with state and facility guidelines
• Respond promptly to patient and resident call lights, prioritizing urgent needs and escalating concerns to nursing staff as appropriate
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding support, and hydration monitoring to ensure residents meet nutritional and dietary goals
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including nurses, therapists, and social workers to support individualized patient care plans

Qualifications We're Looking For in Indianapolis CNAs

• Active and unrestricted Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Indiana, in good standing with the Indiana State Nurse Aide Registry
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Current CPR/BLS certification from an AHA or Red Cross-approved provider
