Flexible Temporary CNA Opportunities in Long-Term Care & Rehabilitation Settings Across Spokane

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents and patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support within LTC and rehab environments
• Monitor and accurately document vital signs, intake and output, and observable changes in patient condition, reporting concerns promptly to the supervising RN or LPN
• Provide compassionate repositioning and transfer assistance using proper body mechanics and facility-approved equipment to prevent injury and promote skin integrity
• Support rehabilitation patients with ambulation exercises and restorative care activities under the direction of licensed nursing and therapy staff
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents by performing light housekeeping duties within patient care areas as needed
• Respond promptly and respectfully to call lights and patient requests, upholding a culture of dignity and person-centered care across all interactions
• Assist with meal preparation, tray delivery, and feeding support for residents who require help with nutrition and hydration goals
• Participate in care plan conferences and communicate relevant observations about resident behavior, mood, and physical status to the interdisciplinary team
• Follow all facility infection control protocols, HIPAA guidelines, and Washington State Department of Health regulations applicable to nursing assistant practice

Qualifications & Requirements for CNA Candidates in Spokane, WA

• Active Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing with the WA Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry
