Flexible Temporary CNA Opportunities in Long-Term Care & Rehabilitation Settings Across the Bay Area

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct personal care to residents and patients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral hygiene in LTC and rehabilitation settings
• Assist patients with ambulation, transfers, and mobility exercises under the supervision of licensed nursing staff and physical therapists
• Monitor and accurately document vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate and report changes to the charge nurse
• Support patients with meals and nutritional intake, including feeding assistance and hydration monitoring in accordance with care plans
• Respond promptly to call lights and patient requests, ensuring a safe, dignified, and respectful care environment at all times
• Assist rehabilitation patients with prescribed exercise programs and therapeutic activities as directed by the supervising clinical team
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment by performing routine room tidying, linen changes, and infection control practices
• Observe and report changes in patient physical condition, behavior, or emotional status to the nursing team to facilitate timely interventions
• Document care activities accurately in electronic health records or paper charting systems in compliance with California state and facility requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including nurses, therapists, and social workers to support individualized patient care plans

Qualifications & Requirements for CNA Candidates in San Francisco

• Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of California, in good standing with the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Aide and Technician Certification Section (ATCS)
