Flexible Temporary CNA Opportunities in Long-Term Care & Rehabilitation Settings Across Worcester

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents and patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting in LTC and rehab settings
• Monitor and accurately document vital signs, intake and output, and any observable changes in patient condition, reporting promptly to licensed nursing staff
• Assist with safe patient mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and assistive devices in accordance with rehabilitation care plans
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to long-term care residents, fostering dignity and respect in all interactions
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration monitoring for residents requiring dietary support
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment by performing routine room upkeep and adhering to infection control protocols
• Support rehabilitation therapy goals by reinforcing exercise routines and mobility activities as directed by the interdisciplinary care team
• Respond promptly and professionally to call lights and patient requests, prioritizing safety and comfort at all times
• Participate in shift handoff communication, providing accurate and thorough verbal and written updates to oncoming nursing staff
• Follow all facility-specific policies, HIPAA guidelines, and Massachusetts state regulations governing CNA practice in healthcare settings

Qualifications & Requirements for CNA Candidates in Worcester, MA

• Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification registered with the Massachusetts Nurse Aide Registry
