Part-Time Licensed Practical & Vocational Nurse Opportunities Across Tampa's Top Care Settings

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with Florida state nursing guidelines and facility protocols across LTC, home health, and rehab settings
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, health status, and responses to care plans, promptly reporting changes to supervising RNs or physicians
• Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized patient care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary care teams
• Provide wound care, catheter care, IV therapy (where permitted), and other skilled nursing interventions as directed by the attending provider
• Deliver compassionate personal care and support to long-term care residents, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility
• Conduct home health visits throughout the Tampa Bay area, ensuring patients and family caregivers are educated on medication management, safety, and follow-up care
• Support rehabilitation patients in meeting functional recovery goals by reinforcing therapy plans and monitoring progress between therapy sessions
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems in accordance with CMS and Florida AHCA standards
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity and quality of care
• Adhere to infection control protocols, HIPAA regulations, and all applicable federal and state healthcare compliance standards

Qualifications & Requirements for LPN/LVN Candidates in Tampa, FL

• Active, unrestricted LPN or LVN license issued by the Florida Board of Nursing (or a compact state license with Florida privileges)
• Graduation from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program recognized by the Florida Board of Nursing
• Current CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience in long-term care, home health, and/or rehabilitation nursing is welcomed but not required — new graduates are encouraged to apply
