Flexible Temporary CNA Opportunities in Long-Term Care & Rehab Facilities Across Akron

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents and patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting in LTC and rehab settings
• Monitor and accurately record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates, reporting changes to the nursing staff
• Support safe patient mobility by assisting with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and the use of mobility aids or assistive devices
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to long-term care residents and rehab patients during their recovery or extended stay
• Assist the nursing team with wound care preparation, non-sterile dressing changes, and infection control protocols as directed
• Respond promptly and professionally to call lights and patient or resident requests, ensuring a safe and comfortable care environment
• Document care activities, observations, and any changes in resident or patient condition in accordance with facility policies and Ohio state regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of patient rooms, common areas, and care equipment in compliance with infection prevention standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including nurses, therapists, and social workers to support individualized care plans
• Follow all facility protocols, HIPAA guidelines, and Ohio Department of Health regulations governing long-term care and rehabilitation services

Qualifications & Requirements for CNA Candidates in Akron, OH
