Part-Time LPN/LVN Opportunities in Long-Term Care, Home Health & Rehab Across the Triad
Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with North Carolina nursing scope of practice and facility protocols
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, health status changes, and responses to care interventions in LTC, home health, or rehab settings
- Assist residents and clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, mobility support, and nutritional intake
- Communicate observations and changes in patient condition promptly to supervising registered nurses or attending physicians
- Perform wound assessments and dressing changes under the direction of a supervising RN or physician
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
- Educate patients and their family members on care plans, medication schedules, and discharge or ongoing home care instructions
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams to support patient recovery goals and therapy follow-through in rehab environments
- Conduct home health visits, assess client living conditions, and ensure a safe care environment in accordance with the plan of care
- Uphold infection control protocols, HIPAA compliance, and all applicable state and federal healthcare regulations at every patient interaction
Qualifications We Look for in Greensboro LPN/LVN Candidates
- Active and unrestricted LPN license issued by the North Carolina Board of Nursing (or a valid Nursing Licensure Compact license recognized in NC)
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing or vocational nursing program
