Job Description
Geriatric Nursing Assistant Jobs in Washington, DC
Washington, DC is a city defined by purpose, service, and community — values that resonate deeply within its healthcare landscape. As the nation's capital, DC is home to a diverse and aging population served by a rich network of care providers, including MedStar Health facilities, Howard University Hospital, the Washington DC VA Medical Center, and a growing number of long-term care communities and home health agencies across all eight wards. Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNAs) are the cornerstone of compassionate, hands-on care in this environment, providing daily support that preserves the dignity, independence, and quality of life of elderly and vulnerable residents throughout the District.
Reliant Healthcare Solutions (RHS) is actively building a pipeline of dedicated GNA professionals to meet the increasing demand for skilled nursing and personal care support across Washington, DC's long-term care facilities and home health settings. Whether you are passionate about building meaningful relationships with long-term residents in a skilled nursing facility or prefer the one-on-one connection of home health care, RHS places GNAs in roles that match their strengths, schedules, and career goals. Our staffing specialists understand the nuances of DC's healthcare market — from the high-acuity needs near Capitol Hill to the community-based care networks in neighborhoods like Anacostia, Congress Heights, and Petworth.
As a GNA working through Reliant Healthcare Solutions in Washington, DC, you will become part of a broader healthcare staffing network that prioritizes your professional development, personal well-being, and career advancement. DC's healthcare sector continues to grow in complexity and demand, with nursing workforce shortages creating significant opportunities for certified GNAs willing to take on meaningful, well-compensated roles. RHS bridges the gap between talented healthcare professionals and the organizations that need them most — ensuring that both caregivers and patients across the District receive the quality and consistency they deserve.
