Temporary RN Opportunities in Home Health, Rehab & Long-Term Care Across Laurel, MD

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in home health, rehab, or long-term care settings
• Administer prescribed medications, IV therapies, and wound care treatments in accordance with Maryland state nursing practice standards
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, functional progress, and changes in condition, reporting concerns promptly to the supervising physician or care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams — including physical therapists, social workers, and physicians — to coordinate holistic patient care across post-acute settings
• Educate patients and family members on disease management, medication adherence, home safety, and discharge or transition planning
• Perform skilled nursing visits in compliance with physician orders and payer-specific requirements, including Medicare and Medicaid documentation standards
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
• Provide compassionate end-of-life and palliative support to patients and families in long-term care and home health environments as appropriate
• Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs, CNAs, and home health aides within the scope of Maryland nursing delegation guidelines
• Participate in care conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and mandatory in-service trainings as required by the facility or agency

What We're Looking for in Our Laurel, MD RN Candidates

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Maryland Board of Nursing or a valid compact nursing license recognized in Maryland
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
