Temporary RN Opportunities in Home Health, Rehabilitation & Long-Term Care Across Southern Maryland

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for patients across home health, rehabilitation, and long-term care settings in the Waldorf, MD area
• Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies while monitoring patients for adverse reactions or changes in condition
• Provide skilled wound care, IV therapy, catheter management, and other clinical interventions as ordered by the attending physician
• Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately and in compliance with facility policies and state regulations
• Educate patients and their family members on disease management, medication regimens, and post-treatment home care instructions
• Coordinate with physical therapists, social workers, physicians, and other care team members to ensure seamless transitions of care
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient vital signs, functional status, and overall well-being, escalating concerns to the appropriate provider
• Maintain a safe, compassionate, and dignified environment for all patients, upholding the highest standards of nursing practice
• Adhere to all HIPAA guidelines, infection control protocols, and facility-specific compliance requirements throughout each assignment

Qualifications We're Looking For in Our Waldorf, MD RN Candidates

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Maryland Board of Nursing or a valid multi-state Compact RN license
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross; ACLS preferred for certain settings
• Experience in home health, rehabilitation, long-term care, or a related clinical nursing setting is valued at any level — new grads encouraged to apply
• Working knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems such as MatrixCare, PointClickCare, or similar platforms
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient communication skills appropriate for community-based and facility care environments
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and health clearance as required by Reliant Healthcare Solutions and client facilities
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patient homes or facility locations within the Waldorf, MD and surrounding Charles County area
