Full-Time CNA Opportunities Across Long-Term Care, Home Health, Rehab & Clinic Settings in Montgomery County

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents and patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral hygiene across LTC, rehab, and home health settings
• Monitor and accurately record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature, reporting abnormal findings promptly to the supervising nurse
• Support safe patient mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and mechanical lift equipment to prevent falls and injuries
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to residents and home health clients, promoting dignity and quality of life
• Assist with feeding and nutrition monitoring, documenting intake and output accurately per facility or care plan protocol
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient or resident environment, adhering to infection control standards and Maryland state healthcare regulations
• Respond promptly to call lights and patient requests in clinical, rehab, and LTC environments, prioritizing urgent needs appropriately
• Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams to implement individualized patient care plans
• Document care activities and patient observations accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems or written logs per facility requirements
• Assist clinic and rehab staff with basic patient intake procedures, specimen collection support, and preparation of exam or therapy areas as directed

Qualifications & Requirements for CNA Candidates in Gaithersburg, MD

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing with the Maryland Board of Nursing or ability to obtain reciprocity from another state
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Current CPR/BLS certification from an AHA- or Red Cross-approved program
